Delayed Egress With Magnetic Locking (EM)
DISCONTINUED – SEE EE OPTION
Delayed Egress Magnetic Locking (EM) option provides a secure 2-point locking device with 15 second delay and an approximate 100dB alarm when someone attempts to exit. This delay allows management to respond to the alarm before a potential violation occurs. The Delayed Egress Magnetic Locking (EM) device must be wired to the fire alarm (sprinkler system, smoke detection, etc.) that allows a system override in the event of a fire emergency situation, per building code requirements.
