Customer Service Tech Support Lead

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for serving as the Phone Support Tech Lead.  Provides support, direction, and technical assistance to internal and external customers. Assists Customer Service Manager with problem resolution, troubleshooting of products, repair services, and training on-site and off-site as needed. Communicates with customers daily. Maintains effective customer relationships externally and internally.  Completes other duties as directed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Include but are not limited to:

  • Supports Manager with oversight, productivity, and accountability of tech support team.
  • Supports strategies for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Assigns phone tech to projects, NPI, Product review/evaluation, and works closely with dept. staff throughout the NPI process and provide product design and testing support.
  • Travels to sites to troubleshoot, install, or repair Company products as needed.
  • Supports maintenance of detailed records of staff interactions with customers, reported issues, and completed solutions/actions required for returns, replacements, or repairs.
  • Reads and works with drawings, process sheets, operations manuals, schematics, and work order and develops training manuals and troubleshooting procedures to help both support personnel and end users interact properly with security products.
  • Provides daily support to Company product users including answering questions, analyzing problems, and quickly forming solutions to ensure the proper operation of company products. Completes technical support and repair functions as needed.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with end users, colleagues, and management to quickly resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Increase personal technical knowledge by reading trade publications, operating manuals, and diagnostics information.
  • Routinely observe operational performance and install of security products and updates, when necessary, to increase product knowledge and technical skills.
  • Evaluate and critique installation instructions and propose new processes for continuous improvement and communicate identified opportunities to the manager.
  • Supports the development of department key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Supports new hire training and cross-training to ensure business continuity.
  • Supports manager with enforcement of company policies and procedures.
  • Supports maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

Qualifications:

Associates degree in electronics and/or help desk support technician with windows desktop certification (MSCDST Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) and three years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or related experience. BA preferred.

  • Knowledge of electronic principles, concepts, and testing procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret installation instructions, blueprints, process sheets, manuals, schematics, and work orders and ability to quickly identify problems, form solutions, and execute step-by-step troubleshooting procedures on electronic/hardware products.
  • Ability to use electronic testing equipment, measuring devices, and hand tools.
  • Ability to use various soldering and wiring techniques.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
  • Skills in effectively listening and communicating verbally and in writing.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm and professional in all circumstances using tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to compile and maintain records, logs, and organize reports.
  • Ability to operate office equipment; computers, phones, etc….

Payroll Clerk

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing and processing employee compensation, ensuring timely and accurate payroll distribution. Supports accounting work involving accounts payable and receivable (AR & AP), compiling various financial reports. Supports other duties as required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Include but are not limited to:

  • Processing Payroll: Calculate and process employee wages, salaries, bonuses, and commissions, ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintaining Records: Keep detailed records of employee hours, deductions, taxes, and other payroll information.
  • Handling Tax Withholdings: Ensure correct federal, state, and local taxes are deducted from employee paychecks.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage and process employee benefits (e.g., health insurance, 401K, retirement plans), deductions, audits, and reporting.
  • Expense Reports and Reimbursements: Manage, process, and maintain accurate employee expense reporting and reimbursement records ensuring accuracy.
  • Data Entry and Updates: Enter employee data (new hires, terminations, promotions) into payroll, benefit, and 401k systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure payroll complies with federal and state regulations, including labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Resolving Payroll Issues: Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or concerns from employees.
  • Reporting: Generate payroll reports for accounting, finance, and management purposes. Compiles and calculates various periodic reports, such as 125 reports, bonus calculations, EEO Reports, W-2, and other reports.
  •  (AR) and (AR): Supports AP and AR functions and participates in cross-training to ensure business continuity.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
  • Training: Provide training for current and new end users on our payroll software system, timecard approval process, and expense reporting process.  Develop “How To” training guides for end users.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Related Field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in accounting/finance or three years of experience in financial record keeping or accounting;

  • Proficient with payroll software systems like Paycom, Paycor, Paylocity, ADP, QuickBooks, Paychex, etc., and with payroll management systems and timekeeping software.
  • Knowledge of Tax Regulations and Labor Laws and understanding of local, state, and federal tax laws and labor regulations required to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) to handle data entry and generate payroll reports.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for accurate payroll to avoid errors in payments or tax calculations.
  • Strong time Management skills to manage payroll and time-sensitive tasks.
  • Strong organizational Skills and ability to maintain organized records, handle confidential information, and manage large volumes of data.
  • Strong communication Skills and ability to communicate effectively with employees, HR, and management to resolve payroll issues.
  • Strong problem-Solving skills and ability to address discrepancies or errors in payroll records.

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification from the American Payroll Association (APA) preferred.

Accounting Administrator

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing accounting and bookkeeping work involving maintaining and balancing books, ledgers, and accounts, may process employee payroll, accounts payable and receivable, compiling various financial reports, and providing customer service information. performing other office support-related duties as required. Supports other duties as required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Include but are not limited to:

  • Maintains general ledger; records journal entries; and compiles various end-of-month, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Balances general bank accounts and reconciles to the general ledger.
  • Enters and processes employee payroll; generates employee paychecks and electronically transfers funds accordingly, i.e., direct deposit and 401 contributions.
  • Maintains and updates employee payroll records.
  • Provides payroll and benefits information to employees and supervisors.
  • Processes and enters invoices for payment, researches and resolves outstanding issues, schedules invoices for payment, and issues check for the manager’s signature.
  • Prepares distribution reports for all revenue collected.
  • Processes end of month journal entries
  • Compiles and/or calculates various periodic reports, such as cash reports, 125 reports, EEO Reports, and W 2’s.
